As a member of US-COPAJU, you will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals who share your goals and concerns. US-COPAJU offers a unique platform for members to enhance their professional development, expand their networks, stay informed on key judicial issues, and contribute to the promotion of social justice. As a US-COPAJU member, you can:

  • Participate in cutting-edge educational programs on social justice, strategies for creating a more diverse judiciary, implicit bias, informed decision-making, and more.

  • Attend national conferences featuring esteemed jurists and scholars, as well as regional and local US-COPAJU meetings and events throughout the year.

  • Receive US-COPAJU's national Directory of Members, monthly updates, and other valuable resources to remain well-informed.

  • Be appointed to US-COPAJU committees, contributing directly to the organization’s mission and expanding its impact.

  • Affiliation: All members of US-COPAJU are automatically granted membership in the International COPAJU and the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences (PASS), organizations dedicated to advancing social justice globally.

  • Networking: Build meaningful connections with individuals committed to social justice, who share your values and dedication to improving the judiciary and legal systems.

Dues Structure

To support the ongoing work of US-COPAJU, membership dues are due each year on December 1st and are structured as follows:

  • Annual Individual Membership: $350

  • Institutional Membership: $1,000 (for academic or legal institutions)

These dues help fund US-COPAJU’s research programs, publications, and global outreach, ensuring that the organization continues to foster impactful collaborations and drive forward its mission.

The Institutional Membership for US-COPAJU is designed for academic, legal, or judicial institutions that wish to actively support and engage with US-COPAJU’s mission. Institutional members contribute $1,000 annually, which covers up to five individual memberships for staff, faculty, or members of the institution. These individual memberships grant the same benefits as standard memberships, including access to US-COPAJU’s exclusive resources, events, and networking opportunities.  Institutional membership allows organizations to engage their personnel in US-COPAJU’s global initiatives, promoting collaboration across a range of social justice and legal reform projects. It also provides institutions with recognition as key supporters of US-COPAJU’s research, publications, and educational programs, helping to further their reach and impact within the global justice community.
